ChainCatcher news, UFC wrestler Khamzat Chimaev has launched a meme coin themed around Khamzat called "SMASH."

SMASH plummeted to zero on Friday. The token crashed just hours after the wrestler tweeted. In the past 24 hours, the token has dropped by 96%.

Cryptocurrency veterans pointed out in Chimaev's replies that this appears to be a typical crypto pump and dump. Blockchain detective ZachXBT quickly linked the "internal wallet" that sold off most of the tokens directly to the development team's wallet, indicating that this was a well-orchestrated scam.

Subsequently, Chimaev deleted all tweets related to cryptocurrency and the SMASH token.
