Tech giant Opera integrates USDT and USDC into its mobile browser Opera Mini

ChainCatcher news, tech giant Opera has upgraded its cryptocurrency wallet in the mobile browser Opera Mini, integrating Tether's USDT and Circle's USDC stablecoins.

MiniPay is a self-custodial wallet based on stablecoins built into Opera Mini, and the new feature Pockets allows users to swap between Celo Dollar (cUSD) and the newly integrated stablecoins with fees as low as a few cents and no hidden costs.

Since its launch in September 2023, the MiniPay wallet has been activated over three million times in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa, making it one of the fastest-growing digital wallets in Africa.
