ChainCatcher news, Telegram CEO Du Rove stated in a Telegram channel that the recent changes in Telegram have transformed the way people interact with mini-apps, allowing users to fold apps and switch between them. This update also introduces the ability for channel owners to post paid photos and videos, which users can purchase using Stars. Like mini-app developers, channel owners can convert the Stars they collect into Toncoin with almost no commission paid to Telegram.

In June, Telegram launched Telegram Stars, a way to pay for digital services through mini-programs. Mini-programs can accept payments for digital services and facilitate in-app purchases on both Android and iOS. Developers can extract Stars using TON through Fragment and can further promote their apps on Telegram under favorable conditions using Stars.
