ChainCatcher news, according to Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett, in the lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by Consensys, a Texas judge has approved the request from Consensys' lawyers to expedite the decision on whether the SEC has the authority to regulate MetaMask, with a ruling expected by the end of the year/early 2025.

According to the timeline, all five SEC commissioners and the regulatory agency must submit their responses by July 29 and submit their response summaries by November 26.
