ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, a document previously disclosed by Bitcoin News on the X platform shows that the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority plans to abolish non-custodial Bitcoin wallets to strengthen the regulation of activities on crypto platforms. They emphasized the need to regulate "interface providers" and mobile application developers to comply with MiCA regulations. However, the Danish regulatory authority has not proposed a ban on self-custody cryptocurrency wallets.

It is reported that the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) denied false reports regarding the regulatory agency's plan to ban self-custody wallets (also known as non-custodial wallets). The agency will provide regulatory clarification following a decentralized regulatory assessment in the context of the crypto asset market (MiCA) regulations that will come into full effect on June 30.
