BlackRock acquires alternative market data provider Preqin
ChainCatcher message, The ETF Store President Nate Geraci disclosed that BlackRock is acquiring alternative/private market data provider Preqin, seeking to leverage this data to ultimately create ETFs.
Nate Geraci stated, "Using data" = replication, as it is clearly not possible to create an ETF that holds private market investments. I think this is a conundrum.
