Amber Japan, acquired by Sony, is renamed S.BLOX starting today
ChainCatcher news, according to Coinpost, Amber Japan Co., Ltd., which operates the cryptocurrency trading service "WhaleFin," will change its company name to S.BLOX on July 1, 2024. It was acquired by the Singapore-based market maker Amber Group in February 2022, and subsequently acquired by Sony Group's wholly-owned subsidiary Quetta Web in August 2023.
"WhaleFin" plans to undergo updates in the future, with the following improvements planned:
UI screen redesign;
New application release;
Expansion of supported currencies and features.
