Lenovo officially launched its metaverse software platform Daystar World

ChainCatcher news, according to Global Network reports, at the 2024 Shanghai MWC conference today, Lenovo officially launched its self-developed software platform from the Lenovo Research Institute Shanghai branch—Lenovo Daystar Metaverse Platform.

It is understood that Daystar World is a metaverse content and business construction platform based on technologies such as computer vision and generative artificial intelligence (AIGC). Through collaborative efforts in production, education, research, and application, the Lenovo Daystar Metaverse Platform has overcome challenges in high-fidelity 3D reconstruction of the physical world, three-dimensional digital base construction, simulation prediction, virtual-real interaction and linkage, creating a software and hardware integrated metaverse platform with multiple core capabilities.

The platform enables rapid low-code metaverse space construction through drag-and-drop functionality, and can also interact with self-developed devices (Lenovo Daystar XR glasses, robots, smart cameras, etc.) to form end-to-end solution delivery, achieving a series of functions such as robot deployment simulation, XR content orchestration, AI detection, and digital twin. By leveraging the advantages of Lenovo's self-developed hardware, the Daystar World platform supports the integration of various smart devices, enabling the linkage deployment of the physical and virtual worlds. Virtual tasks can be directly issued to real devices for execution and twin display, enhancing the experience of virtual-real interaction.
