Rarimo launches Worldcoin competitor RariMe, which allows verification by scanning a passport
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Rarimo has launched the RariMe app, which is an alternative to Worldcoin. RariMe allows users to generate a passport to verify their uniqueness through zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) without revealing their identity.
Unlike Worldcoin's use of eye scans, RariMe uses smartphone scans of passports for verification. RariMe also supports anonymous, blockchain-driven referendums and plans to conduct programmable airdrops to specific national citizens via passport ZK. RariMe aims to enhance privacy and provide a truly anonymous way to interact in Web3.
