ChainCatcher news, citing industry executives from Reuters, reports that negotiations between 8 asset management companies, including BlackRock, and regulators have entered the final stage, with only minor adjustments remaining. The SEC is expected to approve the Ethereum spot ETF as early as July 4.

Executives from two companies stated that progress has been made in the process of revising the issuance documents, with only "minor" issues being addressed. Due to the confidentiality of the discussions, these executives requested anonymity. These documents must be approved for the ETF to be issued. A lawyer working with the issuers (who also requested anonymity) stated that they are currently in the "final stages," and approval "may only take a week or two."

The SEC has temporarily declined to comment on this news.
