HSBC launches digital investment platform WorldTrader
ChainCatcher news, according to fund selector asia, HSBC has launched a digital investment platform called WorldTrader.
It is reported that the platform is powered by technology from Interactive Brokers and will first launch in the UAE, with plans to expand to other markets in Asia and the Middle East in the future. WorldTrader enables HSBC customers to trade stocks, ETFs, and bonds in 25 markets and 77 exchanges worldwide through a mobile app or online banking. A study by HSBC shows that the demand for investment opportunities among mass affluent clients has increased, driving a 30% growth rate in global brokerage services.
