McKinsey: The tokenized financial assets market is expected to reach $2 trillion by 2030
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, analysts from consulting firm McKinsey stated that while tokenized financial assets have experienced a "cold start," their market size is expected to reach approximately $2 trillion by 2030.
In an optimistic scenario, this value could double to around $4 trillion. Tokenization has shown "significant momentum," but widespread adoption is still a long way off, as modernizing existing financial infrastructure is "challenging, especially in heavily regulated industries like financial services."
