CoinStats security incident compromised wallet Blurr.eth stolen 8.7 million MKR
ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, CoinStats was attacked last night, with hackers pushing notifications containing phishing links to users through the application. Approximately 1,590 wallets were affected.
It is reported that the most affected wallet may belong to Blurr.eth: he was stolen 3,657 MKR (approximately 8.7 million USD) and the hackers sold it on-chain for 2,482 ETH. This caused the MKR price to plummet from 2,462 USD to 2,280 USD, a short-term drop of 7%.
