Stacks core developer: Stacks Nakamoto development work is 90% complete
ChainCatcher news, according to the Stacks Nakamoto core development team, the development work of Nakamoto is 90% complete, and the team is making final preparations for the official launch on July 15.
It is reported that the Stacks project started in 2013 and is the first Layer2 project on Bitcoin, but the UTXO transaction model based on Bitcoin leads to lower transaction efficiency, which cannot meet the rapidly growing demand of the Bitcoin Layer2 ecosystem. The Stacks Nakamoto upgrade will achieve transaction speeds of around 5-10 seconds, improving the current transaction speed by approximately 100 times.
