Square Peg plans to raise a new fund of $550 million in the second half of 2024
ChainCatcher news, according to Tech in Asia, venture capital firm Square Peg announced that it will raise a new fund of $550 million in the second half of 2024, which will be their sixth fund.
It is reported that Square Peg has previously participated in the $5 million seed round financing of AI startup Mindverse, as well as the $12 million Series A financing of blockchain game infrastructure startup Lysto.
Previously reported in October 2022, venture capital firm Square Peg announced that its fifth fund completed fundraising of $550 million, with investors including Australian pension funds Hostplus and AustralianSuper, as well as family offices, institutions, and donor funds. Square Peg partner Tushar Roy stated that the new fund will closely monitor high levels of activity in the Web3 markets of Australia, Israel, and Southeast Asia.
