ChainCatcher news, the Nigerian High Court dismissed the lawsuit of Binance regional manager Nadeem Anjarwalla due to lack of due diligence in prosecution. Anjarwalla accused the Nigerian government of violating his fundamental rights when detaining and seizing his passport.

Anjarwalla filed the lawsuit on March 28, seeking to declare the actions of these agencies illegal, while his lawyer Tonye Krukrubo requested to withdraw the case at the same time. According to the Nigerian financial publication Nairametrics, Krukrubo made this request so that Anjarwalla could hire other legal representatives. However, Anjarwalla did not appear in court as he had already escaped and fled to Kenya.

Meanwhile, Binance's head of financial crime compliance, Tigran Gambaryan, was also detained on similar charges and filed an independent lawsuit against the NSA and EFCC, scheduled to be heard on July 9.
