Circle's employee count has increased by 15% this year, adding approximately 137 new employees
ChainCatcher news, Circle has increased its workforce by more than 15% this year, having previously revealed in January that it had secretly submitted an IPO application in the U.S.
A Circle spokesperson stated that the company has added 137 employees and has opened over 140 new positions in areas such as business development, engineering, and marketing. The company currently has 882 employees, with another 24 having accepted job offers.
LinkedIn accounts show that the new hires include Chief Accounting Officer Tamara Schulz and Director of Exchange Business Development Pierre Carras, both of whom joined in May. According to LinkedIn information, Sterling Barnett is the Director of Business Development responsible for North American and European exchange partnerships, starting work in April.
