ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, global Ethereum exchange-traded products (ETP) outperformed Bitcoin ETP in the past week ahead of the expected launch of the first Ethereum spot ETF in the U.S. on July 2.

Data shows that Ethereum ETP saw a net inflow for four consecutive weeks, totaling 86,472 ETH, while Bitcoin ETP experienced a net outflow of 12,523 BTC.

Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan pointed out that investors should consider diversifying their allocations by increasing Ethereum spot ETFs to capture more blockchain use cases. It is expected that eight companies, including BlackRock and Fidelity, will drive the approval of Ethereum spot ETF listing applications through final approval.
