Fox Corporation partners with TIME to become the first publishing partner of the Polygon-based Verify Protocol
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Fox Corporation announced TIME as its first external publishing partner for the Verify Protocol on the Polygon chain. The Verify Protocol is a blockchain-based media platform designed to verify the source of media content through cryptographic signatures, ensuring it comes from trusted publishers. TIME will utilize the platform as part of its content licensing and verification strategy.
It is reported that Fox Corporation partnered with Polygon Labs in January this year to launch the open-source Verify Protocol on Polygon's PoS network. In the future, the Verify Protocol plans to migrate from the Polygon PoS network to a standalone zero-knowledge (ZK) blockchain based on Ethereum, developed with the assistance of the DeFi protocol Gelato, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and transparency of content verification. Fox Corporation stated that its Verify Protocol has currently signed over 300,000 pieces of content from platforms such as Fox Sports and Fox News.
