Cryptocurrency trading company Cumberland has obtained a BitLicense in New York
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, digital asset trader and liquidity provider Cumberland DRW announced on Monday that the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) has granted it a virtual currency license, BitLicense.
It is reported that Cumberland is a subsidiary of the high-frequency trading firm DRW based in Chicago. Earlier this year, Fidelity chose Cumberland to trade Bitcoin for its Bitcoin spot ETF.
