Data: TRC20-USDT issuance exceeds 59.8 billion, setting a new historical record

ChainCatcher news, according to TRONSCAN data, the issuance of TRC20-USDT has exceeded 59.8 billion, setting a new historical high. As of now, the number of accounts holding TRC20-USDT has reached 44.95 million, with a total of over 1.79 billion transfers.

It is reported that TRC20-USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar issued by Tether on the TRON network, known for its fast transfer speed and low transaction fees, which has attracted a large number of users. It is already supported by several exchanges including Binance, HTX, OKX, Bitfinex, MEXC, KuCoin, Gate.io, and Poloniex. TRON stated that the USDT based on the TRC20 version will enhance the existing decentralized application ecosystem of TRON, bringing higher overall value storage and stronger liquidity for decentralized exchanges, and providing a more convenient blockchain entry for enterprise partners and institutional investors.
