Circle: Web3 services have expanded to the Solana network
ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, stablecoin issuer Circle has announced that its Web3 services are now expanding to the Solana network, starting with programmable wallets and Gas Station on Solana. This expansion will enable the Solana developer community to seamlessly integrate secure, intuitive, and enterprise-grade wallets.
It is reported that Circle's Web3 services support for Solana will be implemented in phases:
- In the first phase, programmable wallets and Gas Station will be supported on Solana. More specifically, its API will support the transfer of fungible tokens and will be able to sponsor transaction fees on behalf of end users.
- Future versions will include support for NFTs, as well as programmatic interactions through smart contract platforms; these updates can unlock support for other use cases, such as brand loyalty and gaming NFT integration, as well as the ability to interact with and deploy programs on Solana.
