Gnosis DAO initiated the proposal to "Allocate 8000 GNO to fund the USDC incentive program."

ChainCatcher message, Gnosis DAO has opened a vote on the proposal "Whether to allocate 8000 GNO to fund the USDC incentive program."

The proposal states that the USDC tokens on the Gnosis chain (currently bridgeable from Ethereum via Gnosis Bridge) do not meet the Bridge token standards set by Circle in November 2023. Circle will take over the tokens and convert them into native USDC on the Gnosis Chain, proposing to create an incentive program of up to 8000 GNO. This program will run until USDC is natively issued on Gnosis.
