ChainCatcher news, according to Reuters citing sources, Trump raised $12 million at an event hosted by a San Francisco tech venture capitalist, attended by crypto leaders including Coinbase executives, Gemini co-founders Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss. A source familiar with the fundraising situation stated that the highest ticket price for the gathering was $500,000 per couple, and all tickets were sold out.

Trevor Traina, Chief Business Officer of Tools for Humanity and former U.S. Ambassador to Austria under Trump, told Reuters that Trump stated at the fundraising event that he would become the "crypto president."

Jacob Helberg, a consultant at Palantir Technologies, told Reuters that Trump made it clear that the Biden and Gensler crackdown on cryptocurrencies would stop within an hour of Trump taking office for his second term.
