CoinGecko: As of May, the total market capitalization of the top ten NFTs on the Bitcoin blockchain reached $1.03 billion

ChainCatcher news, a report released by CoinGecko, states that as of the end of May this year, the total market value of the top ten Bitcoin on-chain NFTs, including Ordinals and Runes, has reached $1.03 billion, with a daily trading volume of $2.25 million in May 2024.

Specifically, NodeMonkes has a market value of $198.25 million (2880 BTC), Bitcoin Puppets has a market value of $144.12 million (1815 BTC), and Runestone has a market value of $87.85 million (1124 BTC).

Although the sales of independent NFTs are still relatively low compared to the Ethereum ecosystem, global interest in Ordinals is rising rapidly. The search volume for "Ordinals" on Google hit an all-time high in April 2024, increasing by 58% since January 2024, while the search volume for "Bitcoin NFT" on Google reached an all-time high in March 2024, indicating a growing interest and adoption of the Bitcoin NFT ecosystem among investors this year.
