ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement from the Starknet Foundation, the technical team of the Bitcoin settlement network Chakra Network has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Starknet to jointly promote the development of Bitcoin infrastructure.

Chakra's proof based on ZK-Starks can trustlessly synchronize and settle Bitcoin states, introducing Bitcoin liquidity to the Starknet mainnet and supporting asset settlement for various protocols in the ecosystem. The first phase of the testnet has been launched based on Babylon to ensure the economic security of the future settlement layer. Meanwhile, the Chakra technical team will also assist Starknet in implementing parallelization and promote the development of its shared sequencer.
