Tether co-founder Brock Pierce hinted at a possible return to Hong Kong to operate new projects
ChainCatcher news, according to the South China Morning Post, Tether co-founder Brock Pierce stated that as the government seeks to attract the crypto industry back, he is considering a third return to Hong Kong to introduce a new venture. Brock Pierce did not disclose what his new venture will entail or whether Hong Kong will become its new headquarters.
Brock Pierce co-founded the stablecoin Tether in Hong Kong ten years ago and sold his shares a year after the company was established. He first entered the virtual currency space by selling virtual currency traded in games through his internet gaming entertainment company founded in Hong Kong, Internet Gaming Entertainment. In 2012, he sold his other company, the video game community building company Zam, which was established in 2003, to Tencent Holdings.
