ETC has completed the reduction in production, and the block reward has decreased from 2.56 ETC to 2.048 ETC

ChainCatcher news, according to official information, on May 31, 2024, the Ethereum Classic (ETC) network successfully completed its halving ("Fifthening"), reducing the block reward from 2.56 ETC to 2.048 ETC. This halving occurred at block height 20000001, which was packaged by K1 Pool; the last block before the halving was packaged by F2 Pool. Currently, the total network hash rate of ETC is approximately 180T, having steadily increased by about 50% over the past year.
