Grab will stop its e-wallet service in Vietnam starting from July 1
ChainCatcher news, the Southeast Asian multifunctional online service platform Grab announced today that it will stop providing e-wallet services in Vietnam, a service that was launched in 2018 in partnership with local payment company Moca. Starting from July 1, this change will affect the Moca app and Grab's app in Vietnam. This collaboration included Moca providing payment intermediary services for all of Grab's operations in Vietnam. Users will receive refunds for their remaining balances. Additionally, Grab users can still make cashless payments using bank cards, ZaloPay accounts, and MoMo accounts.
