ChainCatcher news, according to a report by CoinDesk, based on a report provided by the security service provider Immunefi, in 2024, there were 108 hacking incidents resulting in the loss of over $473 million in cryptocurrency.

It is reported that in May alone, $52 million was stolen, most of which was taken from Gala Games and SonneFinance, with these two companies being hacked for $21 million and $20 million, respectively. Compared to May 2023, the total decreased by 12%.
