Nigerian officials ignore court orders and refuse to send Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan to the hospital for malaria treatment

ChainCatcher news, according to DL News, the wife of Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan, who is imprisoned in Nigeria, and an informed source stated that the Nigerian Correctional Service, responsible for managing the Nigerian prison system, ignored a court order and refused to send Gambaryan, who is suffering from malaria and a severe throat infection, to the hospital for treatment. Instead, he is receiving treatment at the clinic in Kuje prison, which is poorly equipped and in urgent need of renovation.

Gambaryan's wife, Yuki Gambaryan, is concerned that her husband's physical and mental health is deteriorating. Yuki said, "Despite the court's clear directive for him to be hospitalized, the authorities are not allowing him to leave the prison that caused his illness, which is very shocking and frustrating to me." Last Thursday, Gambaryan collapsed in court the day after his trial for money laundering in Nigeria's capital, Abuja.
