According to ChainCatcher news, as reported by The Block, two funds managed by BlackRock have purchased shares of the Bitcoin spot ETF (ticker: IBIT) launched by the company, based on documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

It is reported that Wall Street giant BlackRock's two funds, the BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities Fund and the BlackRock Strategic Global Bond Fund, both reported purchasing shares of the Bitcoin spot ETF launched in January.

The documents show that the BlackRock Strategic Income Opportunities Fund purchased nearly $3.6 million worth of IBIT shares in the first quarter of 2024, while the BlackRock Strategic Global Bond Fund purchased $486,000 worth of IBIT shares.
