Sei: Sei v2 has been opened to developers and early adopters, introducing dual address support
ChainCatcher news, the Sei v2 upgrade has entered the second phase of release (Alpha release), which is now open to developers and early adopters. Validators have upgraded their software, bringing Sei v2 to the mainnet. Existing applications and tokens will continue to operate as before, although application deployment will still take some time. The Sei V2 upgrade introduces dual address support, supporting both 0x addresses and Sei blockchain native addresses.
ChainCatcher previously reported that the Sei mainnet v2 upgrade would take place on May 27, with the proposed upgrade introducing high-performance, parallelized EVM to enhance network capabilities. Sei will roll out the V2 upgrade in three phases: governance, Alpha release, and V2 readiness phase.
