ChainCatcher news, Metis has announced the launch of the mainnet version of Router Nitro, a cross-chain asset bridge developed by Router Protocol. Users can now transfer any asset across chains to Metis via Router, experiencing faster, safer, and more cost-effective cross-chain transfers.

Router Nitro employs an optimistic approach to execute transactions, achieving reverse verification through stateful bridging and contract integration on the Router Chain. Its zero TVL-based asset transfer method and open network participation mechanism allow it to save 50-70% in Gas fees compared to competitors, with most transfers completed within 20 seconds.

It is reported that this integration brings significant advantages to Metis users, including fast transfers of 5-20 seconds, lower user costs, and a one-click seamless on-chain experience. To accelerate TVL inflow, Router Protocol will also deploy a new reward mechanism alongside Metis's existing incentive programs.
