Insiders: The deadline for ETF issuers to submit the final 19b-4 form has passed
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block citing informed sources, ETF issuers must submit the final 19b-4 form by 10 AM Eastern Time today. Another source revealed that the agency's deadline is even earlier. Even if approved, trading of these products may not begin for several weeks.
A source from one issuer stated that they expect the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to decide on the approval of one or more applications after the market closes today, in line with the agency's past practices. This aligns with the estimate of Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, who believes the SEC will make a decision around 4 PM Eastern Time.
