Fox Business reporter: CoinShares and Valkyrie will not apply for a spot Ethereum ETF
According to ChainCatcher news, as disclosed by Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett on the X platform, the spot Bitcoin ETF issuers CoinShares and Valkyrie have stated that they will not apply for a spot Ethereum ETF, mainly because a spot Ethereum ETF cannot participate in staking. According to sources, without the staking feature, these two digital asset investment firms believe that a spot Ethereum ETF holds no value for investors, especially since there are already 9 spot Ethereum ETFs in the market, making it too crowded.
