ChainCatcher news, LayerZero co-founder and CEO Bryan Pellegrino stated on the X platform that addresses mistakenly reported as witches can appeal by filling out a form.

Previously, LayerZero Labs announced on the X platform that the self-reporting phase for witches has ended. Each eligible address will receive 15% of its expected token allocation, while the remaining 85% will be returned to qualified users. A total of 803,093 addresses have been identified as potential witch addresses. The team will continue to refine and improve the methods during the bounty hunting process over the next two weeks. The initial list will not be updated during this period and will not affect bounty hunters. The final witch list will be published after the bounty hunting ends on May 31.

In addition, the relevant page shows that LayerZero witch reports have collected 2,312 reports, of which 608 have been reviewed and 1,704 are still under review.

It is reported that the witch bounty event started at 10:00 AM Beijing time on May 18. Bounty reports will close at 07:59 AM Beijing time on June 1 and must include at least 20 addresses. Bounty hunters who successfully report witches will receive 10% of the expected token allocation for witches, while the witches will receive 0 allocation.
