Bloomberg: Donations from the cryptocurrency industry for the 2024 U.S. election have reached $94 million, setting a record high
ChainCatcher news, according to data disclosed by Bloomberg, the cryptocurrency industry has contributed $94 million in donations for the 2024 U.S. election, setting a record high, surpassing the $83 million donated during the previous election cycle in 2020. It is reported that most of the donations come from Political Action Committees (PACs). Additionally, Coinbase and Ripple Labs have also made significant contributions, with the former donating $20.5 million and the latter $20 million. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong personally donated $1 million.
