Beefy urgently pauses Sonne Vault and will work with Sonne to compensate users who have suffered some financial losses

ChainCatcher news, May 15, DeFi yield aggregator Beefy Finance announced that after Sonne Finance encountered a security vulnerability attack, the Beefy team took swift action and urgently paused all 9 Sonne Vaults supported on Optimism and Base within minutes, timely withdrawing most user funds.

Beefy stated that due to the quick response, about two-thirds of the funds were preserved, but some vaults on Optimism were still affected to varying degrees, and some users suffered financial losses. Currently, all Sonne vaults will remain in a paused state. Beefy stated that it will maintain close communication with Sonne, and once any funds are recovered or any form of compensation is obtained, it will work with Sonne to ensure that it is returned to the affected users.
