ChainCatcher news, Layer 1 blockchain lightweight node protocol Over Protocol announced that it will launch its mainnet in June.

Previous news, the Layer 1 blockchain lightweight node protocol Over Protocol developer Superblock announced that it has completed a total financing of 8 million USD, with participation from SK, Netmarble, DSC, E&Investment, Schmidt, SpringCamp, and NaverZ. The new funds will be used to further expand into the Korean market.

According to the Web3 asset data platform RootData, Over Protocol is a Layer 1 blockchain developed by Superblock, based on a protocol called "Ethanos," which only considers active accounts as valid, allowing full nodes to discard outdated data and operate with less storage, thereby reducing storage requirements. With Over, anyone can run a node on their home PC and become a validator.
