Binance and KuCoin complete registration with India's Financial Intelligence Unit
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Binance and KuCoin have completed registration with India's financial intelligence unit, whose top official told CoinDesk that the unit is under the Ministry of Finance of India.
It is reported that this is the first time the country's anti-money laundering unit has approved overseas cryptocurrency-related entities. In this regard, KuCoin paid a fine of $41,000, while Binance's penalty is still to be determined after a hearing with the financial intelligence unit.
