Tether co-founder: The global economy may transition to tokenized currency within the next 10 years
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Tether co-founder William Quigley stated during the FT Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets Summit that the global economy is likely to transition to tokenized currencies within the next 10 years. The value of fiat currencies can only be enhanced when they are tokenized.
Quigley mentioned that tokenized fiat currencies, especially stablecoins like Tether, could one day provide interest or returns for holding digital assets.
