ChainCatcher previously reported that Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of the sports and entertainment public chain Chiliz Chain, announced on his social media that the official date for the Dragon8 hard fork of Chiliz Chain is currently set for May 21, when Token Economics 2.0 will be introduced. It is reported that the new economics will set the first-year inflation rate of CHZ at 8.8%, decreasing year by year; in addition, the protocol will introduce a mechanism similar to EIP-1559, where a portion of the CHZ tokens used as gas will be directly burned.
