Data: Sophon raises over $60 million through node sales
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the modular blockchain Sophon based on zkSync has raised over $60 million through node sales, selling approximately 121,000 network nodes in total, netting about 20,391 ETH (worth $62.7 million).
According to insiders, many of the nodes may have been purchased by venture capital firms.
It is reported that in the draft of the SOPH token economic model, 20% of the nodes are allocated (released over 36 months, with an additional lock-up of 3 months after claiming).
