FOX reporter: Grayscale has never submitted an S-1 application for its Ethereum futures ETF, and the application is incomplete
ChainCatcher news, FOX reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on social media that Grayscale has never submitted an S-1 application for its Ethereum futures ETF, so the application is incomplete. Before considering its spot application, the SEC may want to see if a complete futures application will emerge. It also stated that since its launch last year, investor demand for the existing Ethereum futures ETF has been relatively sluggish.
Earlier today, news broke that Grayscale submitted a notice to the U.S. SEC on May 7 to withdraw its 19b-4 application for the Ethereum futures ETF, just three weeks away from the SEC being forced to make a decision on its application.
