The award list for the Bitcoin Devcon-BEVM hackathon has been announced, and the top three projects in the BEVM ecosystem have been revealed
ChainCatcher news, on May 7th, the Bitcoin Devcon event co-hosted by UTXO and Satoshilab was held in Hong Kong. At the event, the well-known Bitcoin Layer2 project BEVM, built on Taproot Consensus, discussed the potential opportunities of BTC Layer2 with other innovators.
In the afternoon, BEVM announced the winners of the "Bitcoin Devcon-BEVM Hackathon." The awarded projects in the BEVM ecosystem are as follows:
- First place: Bido, a BTC liquidity staking protocol based on BEVM;
- Second place: Satoshi Protocol, a Bitcoin stablecoin protocol built on BEVM;
- Third place: oooo protocol, a modular cross-chain protocol supporting BTC L2;
Two participation awards: synthetic USD stablecoin Bitena and the decentralized protocol Hyperdust for on-chain verifiable 3D/AI computation.
It is reported that BEVM received investment from Bitmain, the world's largest Bitcoin mining machine manufacturer, a week ago. BEVM has completed a financing round of 10 million USD, with nearly 20 participating institutions including CMS, RockTree Capital, Waterdrip Capital, Arkstream Capital, and ViaBTC Capital, resulting in a post-investment valuation of 200 million USD.
