Worldcoin Foundation: The community funding program will be aimed at World Chain developers

ChainCatcher message, Worldcoin's official announcement states that the Worldcoin Foundation opened the community funding program Wave1 applications in April, while also launching World Chain. With the introduction of the World Chain category in the Worldcoin community funding program, the connection between these two developments has become even closer.

The new World Chain funding category aims to support infrastructure, projects, and research to help scale World Chain, serving billions of people and improving their on-chain experience. Fundable categories include: improved developer experience and tools, digital identity, ecosystem growth, and governance.

Funding applications are now open, with a deadline of May 24, 2024.
