Bosera HashKey Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs are officially listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, supporting dual-direction subscription and redemption of ETF shares in virtual currency or cash
As one of the first Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs in Asia, non-Hong Kong residents can also participate in the subscription if they meet Hong Kong's regulatory requirements (such as CDD/KYC requirements).Hong Kong - April 30, 2024 - Bosera Asset Management (International) Co., Ltd. ("Bosera International") and HashKey Capital Limited announced the official listing of the Bosera HashKey Bitcoin ETF and the Bosera HashKey Ethereum ETF on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), with Bosera International as the fund manager and HashKey Capital Limited as the deputy fund manager. It is reported that these will be among the first spot ETFs for Bitcoin and Ethereum in Asia, successfully listed on HKEX with stock codes BTC: 3008.HK (HKD); 9008.HK (USD) and ETH: 3009.HK (HKD); 9009.HK (USD).
The highlight of the two ETFs is the introduction of the world's first "in-kind" subscription and redemption mechanism, which allows investors to directly use Bitcoin and Ethereum to subscribe for ETF shares. Investors can directly hold Bitcoin and Ethereum to subscribe for ETF shares, support cash redemptions, and also support Bitcoin and Ethereum redemptions when subscribing for ETF shares in cash. This innovative in-kind subscription and redemption mechanism helps investors achieve bidirectional circulation between virtual assets and traditional assets.
In addition, the two ETFs track the CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate for the Asia-Pacific region and the CME CF Ethereum USD Reference Rate for the Asia-Pacific region, respectively.

The Bosera HashKey Bitcoin ETF and Bosera HashKey Ethereum ETF are now listed and trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
