Web3 game platform Puffverse completes $3 million financing, led by Animoca Brands

ChainCatcher news, the Web3 game platform Puffverse has completed a $3 million financing round, led by Animoca Brands, with participation from Arcane Group, Spartan Group, Foresight Ventures, HashKey Capital, Sky Mavis, and Xu Family Office.

It is reported that Puffverse will migrate to Ronin to launch its first casual party game centered around the Puff IP, PuffGo, where users can compete in multiplayer matches, use a UGC editor to create their own levels, and interact socially in a vast world. The platform plans to issue its platform token this year, which can later be used in multiple games within Puffverse, and aims to achieve game cloudification next year, upgrading to a cloud gaming platform. Additionally, through cloud rendering technology, it will invite other NFT projects to join, transforming 2D NFTs into 3D NFTs, allowing users to operate NFT characters in cloud Metaverse scenes or game scenes built by project parties for socializing and competition.
