Zhao Changpeng issued an apology letter before the verdict, with 161 people expressing their support

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao submitted a letter to the judge overseeing the case on Tuesday, apologizing for his "misguided decision" and acknowledging that he takes "full responsibility" for his actions.

Changpeng Zhao stated, "There is no reason not to establish necessary compliance controls at Binance, and I assure you this will be my only encounter with the criminal justice system." Looking ahead, he hopes to support biotechnology startups and young people. In addition to Zhao's letter, there are 161 letters of plea from family, friends, and others.
